I walked it all, and yes it lives up to it's reputaion as the UKs no 1. walk. As can be expected over 630 miles there are a few dull bits, but these are the exception and most of it is simply stunning. It also packs in a huge amount of variety of scenery, heritage and wildlife.
Have posted this comment twice but it seems to disappear so hope it is not getting into your mail. I did ask whether you had any accomodation ideas for this walk. Camping is probably too much with bringing gear from Australia. cheers jim
